Ashley and Rachel have lived in Huddersfield all their lives and have worked together in property for over 10 years. Through their family-run business, Rooms Together, they specialise in high-quality professional house shares, providing homes for more than 200 housemates across 38 properties that they either own or operate under long-term leases.

Their business is built around three core values: considerate service, proactivity and professionalism. Ashley and Rachel know their housemates by name and have found that providing lovely homes for lovely people creates a positive experience for everyone. Ashley is passionate about creative property deals and designing the systems that keep the business running smoothly. Rachel brings outstanding customer care, clear communication and close attention to detail, ensuring every housemate feels welcomed and supported.

They started Property & Poppadoms Huddersfield because they believed their hometown deserved its own dedicated property meeting. They love seeing people progress along their property journey, form valuable relationships and support one another.

The community continues between meetings through a WhatsApp group of more than 200 local property professionals. Its members include investors, tradespeople, solicitors, accountants, architects, structural engineers, plumbers and electricians. Whatever the property question, there is always someone in the group with an answer, a useful contact or relevant experience to share.

Away from property, Ashley enjoys mountain biking and adventure, while Rachel enjoys yoga and badminton. They have six children between them, four of whom are now grown up, so family life remains an important part of everything they do.
